Help the homeless

In 2009, the number of homeless families was 535 447. This means that over half a million Americans have to beg for their food and suffer every time night falls and they need a shelter for them and their families. Thanks to the help of some organizations (both private and public), homeless shelters and the good will of many, some homeless can get out of the streets and go back to being and active part of society. If you would like to volunteer at one of these organizations tor a food bank , contact them and inquire about the community service programs. Here are some good ways to help the homeless, the hungry and the needy:

Cook or serve meals at a homeless shelter.

Organize a food rise to collect food and supplies for the homeless.

Collect and donate clothes from your neighborhood.

Put kits together that include personal hygiene essentials such as combs, toothpaste toothbrushes, soap, shampoo

The kids are the world's future. We should nurture, guide and protect them. We should teach by example not by , because action speak louder than words, like . This is why giving is important so that they know the difference between right and wrong.
